Kirk Shannon is a Canadian Illustrator. His love of pen & ink art started when he discovered Franklin Booth's iconic art and a whole new world of art opened up. With a little bit of macabre, a little bit of cute, and a pinch of nature, he explores the textured world of ink.
Kirk is an avid gardener and cyclist. Relishing in growing hot peppers and enjoying the nature of New Brunswick on bike rides.
Kirk focuses mostly on spot illustrations for books but he has also worked for Wizards of the Coast designing and creating an animated intro for the Dice, Camera & Action Podcast. He has also had a "Get Out" illustration chosen to be shown at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival as part of a larger Fan Gallery.
